Define header or footer toolbar for a touch-enhanced form

Define a header/footer toolbar for a touch-enhanced form and add buttons to the toolbar.

You can configure standard properties of a button for each header/footer toolbar button, and also define an image button.

  1. In the properties panel of a touch-enhanced form, click the Header/Footer tab.
  2. Configure the properties of the header or footer toolbar. See Properties specific to a touch-enhanced form.
  3. To add buttons to the toolbar, click for Toolbar buttons under Header toolbar or Footer toolbar depending on where you want to place the toolbar.
The Button properties dialog box is displayed.
  4. Configure the properties of a toolbar button. See Properties of a button for more information.
  5. Click Save.

At runtime, the header toolbar appears docked at the top of the form and aligned to the right or left of the form, based on the configuration. The title text appears in the center.

At runtime, the footer toolbar appears docked at the bottom of the form and aligned to the right or left of the form, based on the configuration. If the content of the form is greater, a scroll bar appears but the footer is visible at the bottom.
