View custom service associations

You can view the list of business processes (all types), forms and business rules that use the current custom service.

  1. Navigate to the custom services list page.
  2. Open the custom service for which to view the associations.

    The custom service opens in the Design view, in a new browser tab.

  3. On the modeling bar, click the File tab and click Associations.
    By default, the processes being used by this custom service, and the processes using this custom service, if any are displayed. You can view the custom service associations for the following:

    • Processes:

      • Processes (process name as hyperlink and association) being used by this custom service, if any. You can click the process name link to open the process in a new browser tab and make changes, as needed.
      • Processes (process name as hyperlink and the latest process version) using this custom service, if any. You can click the process name link to open the process in a new browser tab and make changes, as needed. If the current version of a process is not associated with the custom service, but an earlier version was associated, then the associated process name and the version number are still displayed on the Associations tab.

    • Forms: Forms using this custom service, if any.

      You can click a form name link to open the form in a new browser tab and make changes, as needed.

    • Server variables: Server variables being used by this custom service along with the process name, if any. If a server variable is associated with an activity, the name of the activity is also displayed along with the server name.

    • Resources: Resources (individuals and groups) being used by this custom service, if any. If a resource is associated with an activity, the activity name is also displayed.

    • Integrations: Integration associations lists the custom service groups that are in use displaying group name as the Name and custom service group as the Type. Additionally, the RESTful Open API web service references are also listed under Integrations.

  4. To view the associations of a specific type, on the View associations by type list, select the type of association, such as Server variables. (Default: Process)
    The server variables associated with the current custom service, if any are displayed.
