Execute a test plan

You can execute a test plan to execute all test cases (scripts) for a process. When you execute a test plan, the results are displayed one at a time as the tests are executed rather than when all are complete.

  1. Navigate to Workflow menu and open the item (process/case definition/ fragment/business rule/custom service) for which to create/view the test plan.
  2. Click the File tab and then click Test plan.

    A list of test scripts appears.

  3. Click Execute.

    A browser window opens with the results of each test case. The Results tab displays the name of the test case, the result whether the case is not started (initial state), started, pending, passed or failed, and the reason with error if any.

    If you click Cancel during execution of test plan, the status will be set to Cancelled for all test cases that are Not Started or Pending.

    To execute the plan again, click Rerun on the Toolbar.
