Configure a CMIS update document activity

Use the following procedure to configure a CMIS update document activity.

  1. Add an activity to the map.

    By default, the Configuration tab is open in the properties panel of the activity.

  2. Change the default Name of the activity to something meaningful.
  3. On the Type list, select CMIS > CMIS update document.
  4. Configure the following properties.
    Location
    CMIS site

    The CMIS-compliant site and the CMIS web service URL.

    Repository

    The repository folder where the document is located.

    Document details
    Document ID

    The unique identifier of the document to be updated. The ID can be a static value or a dynamic variable.

    Type

    The document to be updated.

    On selecting the document, the relevant list of metadata is populated.

    Metadata

    Configure the metadata:

    1. Click Configure.

      The Metadata dialog box is displayed.

    2. On the Mapping column, map the metadata using static or dynamic values. You can also map a document variable to a parameter of type String.

    3. Click OK.

      At runtime, the values of the relevant document fields are retrieved.

    You must map all the mandatory (required) fields.

    Result
    Updated document ID

    A process or server variable that holds the unique identifier of the folder retrieved from the CMIS site.

  5. Save the process map.
    The selected document and document properties are updated with the updated metadata values.
