Capture client action

Use the Capture client action to automatically navigate to the next invalid field in the current document or the next invalid document or folder. If all documents and folders are valid, the activity is finished. You can also use this action to mark or unmark a document for online learning.

The Capture client action is only available for capture forms.
  1. On the form modeling bar, click Actions and click New.

    The New action dialog box is displayed.

  2. On the Type list, select Capture client.
  3. Change the default Name (CaptureClient1) to something meaningful.
  4. Optional. Enter a Description for the action.
  5. Optional. Select Multilingual to configure a unique action for each language separately. See Configure multilingual actions.
  6. Configure the actions as needed:

    Auto navigate

    Select this action to automatically navigate to the next invalid field in the current document or the next invalid document or folder.

    When the action is triggered, if all documents and folders are valid, the activity is finished.

    Select scan profile

    Select this action to use multiple scan profiles with the same Scan activity in the Scan create new job and Scan activity forms.

    On the Profile name, select the scan profile to update. You can map a dynamic value (form control, form variable, or global variable) or a Scan/VRS profile or provide an inline value. The Scan profile is updated based on the selected profile name.

    Mark for online learning

    Select this action to mark or unmark a document for online learning.

    1. On the Document ID list, select the document type to mark for online learning. You can map the Document ID to an existing form control value or a String variable or provide an inline value.

    2. On the Mode list, select the type of mode:

      • On (default): Marks the document for online learning.

      • Off: Unmarks the document for online learning

      • Toggle: Changes the state of the document for online learning mark. If the document was already marked for online learning, clicking the toggle button unmarks the document. Otherwise, the document is marked for online learning.

    When the action is triggered, the specified document is marked or unmarked for online learning depending on the setting.

  7. Click Add.

    The newly created action appears on the Actions page.
