Manage capture configurable keys

You can modify the default commands for the hotkeys.

  1. Navigate to System > System settings > User behavior > Capture configurable keys.

The Capture configurable keys dialog box displays a list of commands and corresponding default hotkeys available in the Capture Client.

  2. By default, the Pop-up window shortcut is displayed as CTRL . Click the hyperlink for CTRL or to set up different keys to display the pop-out dialog as needed.

The CTRL / ALT / SHIFT (Combination) + Custom Key appears. By default, the checkbox for the CTRL command is selected.

You can use the following as Custom keys:

  4. Click OK.

Once applied, all the double shortcuts reflect this change. For example, if you set the pop-up window shortcut key as CTRL+SHIFT, the double key for Best fit command is updated as CTRL+SHIFT, 1 and Cancel Activity command is updated as CTRL+SHIFT, X.

Make sure that there is no conflict between TotalAgility and browser/system shortcuts as some of these keys can be used as an internal browser shortcut or a system shortcut. For example, “Ctrl+X” and “Ctrl+ESC”.
  5. Double-click a command. Alternatively, select a command, such as Activity settings, and then click .

The selected command name is displayed as read-only. You cannot change the command name.

  6. Change the Shortcut key to Single or Double.
  7. Specify the combination using CTRL, ALT, SHIFT, Keyboard commands, and Custom Key as needed. For example, "CTRL+SHIFT+L" for the single key, or "CTRL then CTRL+SHIFT+P" for the double key.
  8. Click OK.

The new shortcut combination will be reflected in the table.

  9. Click Save.
The new hotkey replaces the default hotkey.
  10. Click Restore defaults to restore the default shortcuts for all commands and the pop-up window. After you save the shortcut configuration, the restored settings are used in TotalAgility at runtime.
