Configure a CMIS get document activity

Use the following procedure to configure a CMIS get document activity.

  1. Add an activity to the map.

    By default, the Configuration tab is open in the properties panel of the activity.

  2. Change the default Name of the activity to something meaningful.
  3. On the Type list, select CMIS > CMIS get document.
  4. Configure the following properties.
    Location
    CMIS site

    The CMIS-compliant site and the CMIS web service URL.

    Repository

    The source from which to download or check out the document.

    Relative path

    The path from where you can copy or check out a document from the subfolder in the repository. The path can be a static value or a dynamic variable.

    Document details
    Document title

    The document title. The title can be a static value or a dynamic variable.

    Document ID

    The document ID. The ID can be a static value or a dynamic variable.

    Download location

    The location where you want to download the document. The location can be a static value or a dynamic variable.

    This option is not available in on-premise multi-tenant and Azure environments. The document is automatically stored in the default path in the respective tenant.

    Check out

    If selected, the document is checked out from the CMIS-compliant site to your local computer.

    If clear, the document is copied onto your computer but is not checked out.

    Result
    Private working copy ID

    The variable that stores the return value of the document on checkout.

  5. Save the process map.
    The document is downloaded or checked out to your computer.
