Set Fujifilm API authentication prompts

The following settings must be set before creating Fujifilm embedded devices.

  1. In Web System Manager, go to Global Configuration Settings > Devices > Embedded devices.
  2. Select Fujifilm ECSP from the Device type list.
  3. Under Tracked activities, select the activities you want to track. If you do not want to track any activity, clear all of the options.
Only select Print if you intend to use the popup feature of the Fujifilm print driver to prompt for User and Account IDs. See Configuring MFP Properties if you intend to use Xerox Convenience Authentication as the authentication method.
    The following Tracking attributes apply:
    • For Fax Applications (Capture & Send RightFax and Native Fax jobs), additional fax tracking attributes are paper size, duration and destination.
    • For Scan Applications (Capture & Send, Scan-To-Me Scan and Native Scan), scan tracking attributes (in addition to page count) are paper size, destination and black and white or color scanning.
    • For eCopy scan jobs, scan tracking attributes (in addition to page count) are destination, paper size and black and white or color scanning.
  4. Set Name and URL address for External application. By default, both <None> and the URL fields are disabled. If you start typing in the Name field, the URL field becomes enabled. For more information, see Configure embedded devices.
  5. Set ECSP polling Interval (default is 900 seconds) and Polling threads (default is 6) to repeatedly check for a status condition.
  6. Click OK to save the changes.
