Log in to the Unified Client for Fujifilm

When configured as an authentication agent and you log in to Unified Client for Fujifilm, your options vary depending on how authentication is configured on the Fujifilm device. Users are authenticated at the Fujifilm device by using the on-screen keyboard to enter their credentials or by using their cards at a Kofax Card Reader or third-party card reader. When the Unified Client for Fujifilm is not the authentication provider, then a third-party authenticator provides the login prompts on the device.
  1. Tap the device screen.
  2. Depending on your configuration, you are prompted to enter your login credentials using the on-screen keyboard by tapping within the User ID or Username field, or by presenting your card to the card reader.

    • If you used your Equitrac or Output Manager credentials, you proceed to the workflow screen when your credentials are validated.
      • If Equitrac is configured to allow guest access, a Guest button is displayed on the Login screen.
      • If Output Manager is configured, a Switch button is displayed to change the login method (usually Username and manual Card ID).
      • If you configured DRS to allow a user to skip authentication to use the device native functions only, a Bypass button is displayed on the Login screen.
    • If the credentials provided by the Unified Client for Fujifilm or CAC are valid for AutoStore, you are not prompted for identification. If the AutoStore credentials were not provided, you are prompted to enter the AutoStore credentials when you use a AutoStore workflow.
    • If Equitrac is configured to release all jobs or the first queued job after logging on, the jobs are printed automatically after you log on.
    • If you configure Equitrac or Output Manager with Microsoft Entra ID (previously Azure AD) authentication enabled and swipe the card, the Microsoft Entra ID information screen appears. Close the screen to continue. This information is not updated if you swipe again.
    • If you are using a campus card configured for multiple accounts, you are prompted to select the account you want to use for this job. If the card is configured for a single account or does not support the Prompt for Account feature, no prompt appears.

    • When the Require PIN with card swipe option is set in Output Manager, a user receives two prompts for a PIN with a new card. When the user is prompted again after entering the PIN, the same PIN appears in a New PIN field but is masked.
    • The last prompt field on the Login screen is masked to protect your login credentials. If secondary prompts are not enabled on the server, the User ID field is masked. If secondary prompts are enabled, the second field is masked instead.
