Function Access Control

Function Access Control allows you to manage users' access to functions on the device such as Copy, Fax and Scan. For more details, refer to Control function access.

With the Unified Client for Brother, there are some limitations as below:

1. Color Copy cannot be allowed independently from Monochrome Copy. If Monochrome Copy is allowed, you are free to set access to Color Copy. However, if Monochrome Copy is denied, Color Copy is also denied and cannot be allowed.

2. If access to Color Copy is denied, color printing for the two native functions from Brother including Print Data Directly from a USB Flash Drive and Download and Print Documents Using Brother Web Connect is also denied. If Color Copy is allowed, you can also use color printing for these two native functions.
