Elements of the user interface

The Unified Client for Toshiba user interface is touch-based. Use your fingers to make selections, type on the soft keyboard, scroll lists of options, swipe the screen to reveal more options, and perform certain system commands.

The Unified Client for Toshiba user interface is presented in the main window:

This area is controlled by the Unified Client for Toshiba and is the main interface. User selection and workflow activity is handled through interaction with this area of the user interface. Depending upon the currently active Unified Client for Toshiba screen, you can see:

• The current workflow or screen.
• Available workflows as are determined by the administrator at time of setup and by the privileges of the user currently logged in.
• Alert notifications under the notification icon ), such as "Login attempt failed", "Identification failed" and "Failed to launch workflow".
• Menu items under the menu icon (): Logout and About.
