Install the DWS after moving to an AutoStore only environment

If you have previously had an AutoStore, Equitrac, and DRS environment, and you are moving to an AutoStore and DRS only environment, complete these steps to install the DWS:

  1. Uninstall Equitrac Office and Express. For details, refer to the Equitrac Office and Express Installation Guide.
  2. Install AutoStore version 7.0 SP3 or later and all available hotfixes.
  3. Install DRS version 7.11 with the ToshibaUC_1.0.xxxx.zip file installed and install the Unified Client for Toshiba.
  4. Download the DWS software from the Kofax Downloads Web site (https://delivery.kofax.com).
  5. Select and run the Installer file to launch the Setup Wizard.
  6. On the Welcome screen, click Next to begin the installation process.
  7. Read and accept the terms of the Kofax End User License Agreement and click Next.
  8. On the Destination Folder screen, accept the default installation folder or click Change to select a new folder. Click Next.
  9. Click Install, and then Finish to complete the installation.
In the DRS, in the Toshiba Unified Client Service Details screen, update the Server configuration – AutoStore only field to point to the DWS server.
