Upload the Ricoh Combined Client Xlets to the server

Download the installation package in ZIP format from the Kofax Downloads Web site (https://delivery.kofax.com). Then follow the steps in this procedure to upload the files to server running DRS to create the groups.

  1. Open DRS and click on Files tab to open the files upload window.
  2. For the Device Type, choose Ricoh ESA.
  3. Click the Upload button at the bottom of the tab and upload the Combined Client Xlet (33956099.zip) and the SSO Xlet (34084353.zip) files.
Alternatively, you can copy these client packages zip files to the following Device Registration Service plugin folder: C:\Program Files\Nuance\Device Registration Service\Service\Plugins\NSi.DeviceManagement.Plugins.Ricoh.
The Combined Client Xlet and SSO Xlet files can be renamed on your server. Different names can be used to distinguish different versions or hotfixes of the Xlet files for different devices. Renaming these files does not affect their functionality.
After you complete this procedure, you can choose an uploaded client package when you configure settings for a device on the Devices tab.
