Create an extraction group

Create an extraction group to include one or more document types.

  1. Navigate to Capture > Extraction groups.

    The Extraction groups page appears.

  2. Click New.

    The Extraction group page appears in a new browser tab. Under the Design tab, an extraction group, Group 1 is created by default with a RootDocumentType.

  3. Select the extraction group and configure its properties.
  4. Save or release the extraction group.

    Note
    • You can only use the released version of an extraction group in a process.

    • After you save or release the extraction group, you cannot open its previous versions.

    • You can delete an extraction group. See Work with extraction groups.

    • You can undo or redo the changes in an extraction group. See Undo/redo an extraction group.
