Change state action

Configure a Change state TotalAgility action for an event in the Dynamics CRM system. For example, set up the Change state action for the Update event in the Dynamics CRM system. Similarly, you can set up actions for Create and Delete events.

  1. Navigate to Integration > Dynamics CRM.

    The Dynamics CRM page appears.

  2. From the list, click the CRM system for which to configure events.

    The Edit CRM system configuration dialog box is displayed.

  3. Click for Events.

    The New CRM event configuration dialog box is displayed.

  4. On the Entities list, select an entity.
  5. Select the Event for which to configure the TotalAgility action, for example Update.
  6. On the Action list, select Change state. (Default: Create new job)
  7. To display the state of a job at runtime, select a dynamic value, or click and enter a static value for Job ID and State.
  8. Click Save.

    The configured event appears under Events in the Edit CRM system configuration dialog box. You can edit or delete the event.

  9. Click Save.

    When the entity instance is updated in the Dynamics CRM System, the change state action is created against a job at runtime.
