Configure a Document received activity

Configure a Document received activity within a process, case and case fragment. This activity is not supported in a business rule.

  1. Add an activity to the map.

By default, the Configuration tab is open in the properties panel of the activity.

  2. Change the default Name of the activity to something meaningful.
  3. On the Type list, select Document set > Document received.

To add a document set activity to the process, you must turn on Document set from the process Modeling bar. By default, the Document set is turned off.

  4. On the Document/Folder ID list, do either of the following:
    • To add a single document to the document set, select the document ID.

    • To add all the documents within the folder to the document set with the specified status, select the folder ID.

  5. Optional. On the Source list, select the source of the document type or click to provide a static value.
  6. On the Status list, select the status of the document type. (Default: Received)

Available options are: Received, Waiting, Validated, Verified, Rejected and Accepted.

At runtime, the status of document is updated in the document set.

    • If you specify the status of document as Accepted, the rules for the document set are executed and preconditions are re-evaluated.

    • If you do not specify the status, at runtime the document status is marked as received. If the document type does not exist in the document set, a message appears.

  7. Save the process map.
