Freeze columns in a grid

If a grid consists of too many columns to fit in the viewing area, you may need to scroll to the right to see all of them. When scrolling to the right, you may lose sight of one or more columns in the left region of the grid. Use this option to specify the number of columns that should remain frozen in the viewing area, regardless of scrolling.

  1. In the Property Panel > Appearance, select Number of frozen columns.
    By default, the value is set to 0.
  2. Type the required number of frozen columns on the left.
    The specified number of columns is frozen and displayed in a non-scrolling region on the left. The other columns appear in the scrolling region on the right.
