Localize dashboards and set default locale

You can localize your projects in multiple languages. Each Insight project can be localized in different languages and locales.

  • English (United States). This is the default language and cannot be removed.

  • Chinese (Simplified)

  • Czech

  • German

  • Spanish

  • French

  • Italian

  • Japanese

  • Polish

  • Portuguese (Brazil)

  • Russian

  • Swedish

For each language you can also select the required locale. You need to provide the translation source for all text strings on your dashboard. You can also view the Insight applications such as Studio, Admin Console, Themes and Formats, Data Loader, and Multi-Tenant Console in the languages listed above. To localize the dashboard:

  1. Add languages to the project.
  2. Set the "localizable" property for the translation tables.
    Skip this step if you do not use translation tables.
  3. Generate a database localization table.
