Alerts

Use alerts to monitor metrics, records and process values. An alert can be set to notify users when a defined threshold is met or exceeded. For example, when the metric value differs from the previous time interval by more than 50%.

You can create and modify alerts in the dashboard, in the Viewer application, or in the Preview mode in Studio. If you need to prevent the user to modify the alert, place the Alerts Grid component on a View that is not accessible by the user.

Also, you can restrict access to only email options. On the Property Panel, use the Access to alert settings property for the alert messages grid. The following options are available on the list:

• Basic: Users can only modify the email settings.

• Advanced: Users have access to all alert settings.
