Manage Quick Workflow

You can modify, delete and lock or unlock a workflow and view associations for it on the Quick Workflow page.

Modify a workflow

On the Quick Workflows list, click the workflow to modify. Alternatively, on the context menu of the workflow, click Edit. Make changes as needed then save the workflow.

Delete a workflow

You cannot delete a Quick Workflow that has live jobs associated with it.

On the Quick Workflows list, on the context menu of the workflow to delete, click Delete. On confirmation, the selected workflow is deleted.

Note When you delete a workflow from Quick Workflow, the process is removed from the TotalAgility Designer System settings also.

Lock or unlock a workflow

Locking and unlocking of a Quick Workflow applies only to the workflow, create new job form (if workflow is published) and business process. You cannot lock or unlock work types, work queue queries or job queries.

Once the workflow is published, it is locked by default. To unlock it, on the Quick Workflows list, on the context menu of the workflow to unlock, click Unlock. To lock it again, in the context menu of the workflow, click Lock.

View Quick Workflow associations

Associations provide visibility across the entire application, helping you to manage and maintain your workflows efficiently. The associations of a workflow depends on its state. For an unpublished workflow, you can only view business processes associated with it; for a published workflow, in addition to business processes, you can also view Create new job form, Work type, Work queue and job queries associated with the application if any.

On the Quick Workflows list, on the context menu of the workflow to view associations, click Associations. The list of items that are using the selected workflow appears.
