Add key data

You can define key workflow data to be displayed on the Job list and Work queue at runtime.

On publishing the workflow, the selected key data fields are added to the work type and as display columns in your Work queue and Job queries.

At runtime, you can view the display columns on your dashboard.

  1. On the Key Data tab, click Add for Data.

    The Add key data dialog box is displayed.

  2. On the Data list, select the variables that you want to add as key data.
  3. Use the Show in Work queue and Show in Jobs toggle buttons to specify whether the key data should be displayed on your queries.
  4. To add another variable, click Add another and repeat steps 2 and 3.
  5. Once you have added the variables that you want, click Add and close.
  6. You can re-order the data using .

    Note Once you publish the workflow with key data, you cannot remove or reorder the existing fields. However, you can add new fields and reorder them.
