The Kofax TotalAgility Quick Capture allows you to create a capture solution without the need for using Transformation Designer or TotalAgility Designer.

1. Click New on the Capture solutions page.

   The Quick Capture solution designer opens.

2. Configure the Solution Documents, Field Extraction and User Operations tabs to create a Quick Capture solution:
   1. Provide solution details.
   2. Add document types.
   3. Extract fields.
   4. Provide review details.
   5. Validate field values.
   6. Verify extractions.
   7. Rescan a document.
   8. Download documents.

   Note If you find a red dot on any on the tabs, it indicates the configuration is invalid.

3. Save or publish the solution.

   To save the solution, click Save.

   The solution is saved in the current user's working category with a minor version 0.1.

   To publish the solution, click Publish.

   The solution is published with a major version 1.0. A major version allows you to use the solution for your business activities. The following items are created and released. A process map is created with the configured activities. By default, an Image processing activity is added to convert PDF files to images for processing and includes a Scanned>0 precondition (in TotalAgility Designer). At runtime, on creating a job for the solution, the capture process is progressed and the Scanned event is raised automatically when using Scan create new job and Device create new job forms. Document types and extraction groups Scan create new job form or Device create new job form. Note You can publish your solution immediately after classification without configuring other activities.

   Any processes created as part of a Quick Capture are made available for reuse within TotalAgility Appsps.

   When you publish a Quick Capture solution, the process map generated is added to the Quick Capture and Quick Workflow list within TotalAgility Designer (System > System settings > Apps > Quick Capture).

4. To close the solution, click Close on the Quick Capture solution designer.

   On confirmation, the solution is closed.
