Validate field values

Allows you to configure a validation activity in the solution.

Assign individuals or groups to validate the extracted field

  1. Click the User Operations tab and click Validation.
  2. To manually validate the extracted field values, select Yes using the toggle button. (Default: No)

    The invalid fields are highlighted for you to validate.

  3. To add validators do either of the following:
    To create a new resource, click Create new.

    1. In the New group dialog box, enter the name for the group.

    2. Click Add to add group members.

      The Add group members dialog box is displayed.

    3. Add individuals or groups and click Done.

    4. Click Save.

    To add an existing resource, click Add.

    1. In the Add validators dialog box, add groups or individuals.

    2. Click Done

  4. Enter the Average duration duration to complete the validation. (Default: 0 Minutes)

    You can add additional validators if needed.

  5. When all validation is complete, to allow workflow to be performed before progressing, select Yes using the toggle button and then select the process on the Workflow list.

    The Workflow list only includes processes that are made available within "System settings" in TotalAgility Designer. You must have access to the category the process belongs to; otherwise, you will not be able to see the process in the list.

  6. Click Save.
