Update Quick Workflow settings

You can update the workflow settings, such as category and landing page, and specify who has maintenance access for your workflow solution, on the Workflow Details tab in Quick Workflow, without having to go to TotalAgility Designer for updating these settings.

  1. In the Workflow details page, click .

    The Quick Workflow settings dialog box is displayed.

  2. On the Category list, select a category into which you want to store your workflow and associated artefacts. (Default: Working category)
  3. On the Landing page list, select an alternative form to be used within the Workspace when using your solution.
  4. Optional. Select either option for On publish to generate or regenerate Create new job forms upon publishing.
    • Generate create new job form to generate a new form with the updated settings if any, such as new initialization order.

    • Re-generate existing create new job form and on the Create new job form list, select the form that you want to regenerate.

      Note The regenerated form includes any newly added initialization variables.
  5. You can restrict who has maintenance access for your workflow solution, for example, if you do not want to expose your solution or do not want anyone to change it. By default, Everyone is selected. You can provide access to individuals and/or groups and if the group that you need is not available, you can create a new group.
    • To provide access to existing individuals and/or groups, click Add and then select the individuals and groups as needed.

    • To create a new group, perform the following steps:

      1. Click New Group. The New group dialog box is displayed.

      2. Enter a name for the group.

      3. Click Add to add group members. The Add group members dialog box is displayed.

      4. Add individuals and or groups as needed and click Done.

      5. Click Save to save the new group.

  6. Click OK.

    You can only open a solution if you have the required maintenance access permissions.
