Set the skill level of a resource

Create the skill level of a resource for a selected process or skin. The activities that match the skill level appear in the work queue of the resource.

If you select a skin, and create a job that invokes a skin, the skin activities that match the skill level appear in the work queue of the resource.

  1. On the Resources menu, point to Skills and click Resource Process Skill Level.
  2. On the Resource list, select the resource for whom to set the skill level.

    The existing skill details of the resource appear on the right of the page.

  3. On the Category list, select a category.

    For the selected category, the process list shows:

    • All available processes
    • Any defined skins
  4. On the Process list, select the a process or skin.
  5. On the Skill Level list, select a skill level for the resource.
  6. Click Create.

    The skill level appears in the table against the selected process.

Maintain the skill level of a resource

  1. To update the skill level:
    1. On the Resources menu, point to Skills and click Resource Process Skill Level.
    2. On the Resource list, select the resource for whom to set the skill level.

      The existing skill details of the resource appear on the right of the page.

    3. Make changes as needed.
    4. Click Update.

      The updated skill level appears in the table against the selected process.

  2. To delete a skill level, on the list, select the row for the skill level to delete and click Delete .
