Manage note types

Define a note type to help you categorize, search and retrieve notes linked to a job. You can also modify and delete note types.

Create a note type

  1. On the Administration menu, click Notes.
    The Notes page appears. A default note type is available in the Note Type list.
  2. In the Note Type box, enter a name for the new note type.
  3. Click Create.
    The new note type appears in the Note Type list.

Maintain note types

  • To modify a note type, from the Note Type list, select the note type to change, modify the text as needed, and click Update.
  • To delete a note type, from the Note Type list, select the note type to remove, click Delete and click Yes to confirm the deletion.
  • To clear the contents in the Note Type box, click Reset.
