Manage resources

A resource is a person, or a group of persons who perform tasks in an organization. You can create groups within groups. When a task is assigned to a group, any resource from that group or subgroup takes up the task.

For example, in a financial company, three worker groups each have expert resources, called Financial Analysts, Business Analysts, and Cost Analysts. If required, you can add the Business Analysts and Cost Analysts groups to the Financial Analysts group. Any task assigned to the Financial Analysts group is available for the members of all three groups.
