Set sampling and checking ratios

Sampling and Checking are quality management measurements used by organizations to determine to what extent reviews should be done.

TotalAgility Workspace supports two types of reviews:

  • Sampling: These are process-centric general reviews. The review occurs regardless of who worked on the job; the job is reviewed a certain percentage of the time. Whether the review is manual, automatic or requires a checklist is specified within each process area.

  • Checking: These are resource-specific reviews, which occur based on the skill level of users against a process. When a resource with that skill level takes the activity, the checklist is completed based on the skill and the defined checking ratio. For example, coding is done at graduate level, professional level, and senior level. The code for a graduate would be reviewed 100%, that of professional 25%, and that of the senior 2%, and the checking ratio would be set accordingly.

Note You can also specify the percentage of activities to check and the percentage of jobs to sample on a skin process. However, the skins only appear if they are enabled in TotalAgility. See Kofax TotalAgility help for more information.
