Reevaluate preconditions
Setting a precondition against an activity keeps the activity from the Pending status until the precondition is met.
If TotalAgility Workspace raises an event against a job, yet for some reason, such as database connection issue, cannot complete a precondition evaluation, the status of the activity becomes Awaiting Events.
The Awaiting Events status is similar to the Pending status except that the activity does not appear on anyone's work queue and no activity notification is sent.
Use the Re-evaluate Pre-conditions option to do the following:
- Reevaluate activities in a job that have an Awaiting Events status.
- Manually change a precondition after starting a job that needs all activities reevaluated against the new precondition value.
- On the Jobs menu, click Find.
- Select the job which has activities in the Awaiting Events status, and you want to reevaluate them.

To specify the jobs with preconditions to reevaluate:

To reevaluate preconditions of a single job, on the Actions column for the job, click Select and click Re-evaluate Pre-conditions.

To reevaluate preconditions of multiple jobs, select the check boxes for the jobs for which to reevaluate preconditions, and on the Action bar, click Actions and click Re-evaluate Pre-conditions.

To reevaluate preconditions of all jobs, select the check box in the table header, and on the Action bar, click Actions and click Re-evaluate Pre-conditions.
