Create a job

Create a job, case, or job in case as required by your business or customers.

Once you create a job, case, or job in case, it appears on your work queue. On the Work Queue page, take and complete an activity, or reassign it to others.

  1. On the Jobs menu, click Create.
  2. On the Category list, select the category.
  3. On the Process list, select the process on which to base your job on.
  4. Select the Create Job Synchronously check box to create a job synchronously.

When you select this option, TotalAgility Workspace performs the job automatically (on a single thread of execution to improve performance). You can only select this option if all the activities on the process map are automatic and the process map is synchronous.

  5. Click Create.

The job is created successfully and the job ID is displayed as a hyperlink. Click the link to view the job properties.
