The three buttons on the right side of this tab are used for creating and mapping folder classes to project folders. The second button is disabled if the root folder is selected, because the mapping for the root folder cannot be changed.

• Create new folder class: Creates a new folder class in Kofax Capture with a name that you provide. A window is displayed to type in the folder class name.

  The new folder class is added to the list of available folder classes. The new folder class is not automatically assigned to a project folder.

• Create a new folder class with the name of the selected folder and assign it. Creates a new folder class with the name of the selected project folder and automatically assigns it to that project folder. Multi-selection is not supported. The new folder class is also added to the list of available folders.

  Note The icons for new folder classes are marked with an asterisk until they are added to the Kofax Capture batch class in the synchronization step. If synchronization is not performed, the new folder classes are discarded when the Synchronization Tool is closed. Folder classes that were created here but remain unmapped are not added to the Kofax Capture batch class during the synchronization step.

• Create new folder classes for all project folders and assign them: Creates one new folder class for each project folder and automatically assigns it to the corresponding project folder. The root folder of course is still mapped to the Kofax Capture batch class.
