Manage the user interface

The Transformation Designer user interface can be customized to suit your needs. With the various windows, you can do the following:

• Open a window

• Close a window

• Float a window outside the main Transformation Designer window

• Dock a window within the Transformation Designer window

• Hide a window within the Transformation Designer window

In addition to modifying the windows and the physical layout of the Transformation Designer window, you can also maintain the Ribbon and Quick Access toolbar in the following ways:

• Minimize the Ribbon
• Relocate the Quick Access toolbar

• Add a setting to the Quick Access toolbar

• Remove a setting from the Quick Access toolbar

Also, different actions can be performed based on the Project Tree item selected.
