General tab - Project Settings window
You can use the General tab to configure commonly used features such as online learning, automatic rotation, and the use of the Thin Clients.
- Rotation

This group has the following settings:
- Enable automatic rotation for

If scanned images are inverted or sideways, you can configure your project to rotate the images automatically to their correct position. You can enable automatic rotation to be performed during one or both of the following:
- Full text recognition

Select this setting to rotate images automatically when full text recognition is performed on a document. This setting is selected by default.
- Layout Classifier

Select this setting to rotate images automatically when a document is processed using the Layout Classifier. This setting is cleared by default.
- Color Conversion to Black and White

This group has the following settings:
- Contrast sensitivity

Increases or decreases the ability to detect subtle differences in shading when a color image is converted to black and white. The value for this setting is set to 3 by default.
- Noise sensitivity
-
Increase or decrease the amount of noise correction applied to the black and white image when it is converted from a color image. The value for this setting is set to 3 by default.
- Monitoring

This group has the following setting:
- Save field property change history

Select this setting so that any changes made to field properties during extraction are recorded and available in the Extraction Results and the XDoc Browser.
This setting is cleared by default.
Selecting this setting may increase processing times. As a result, it is recommended to select this setting if you are interested in the field results only.
- Online Learning

- Enable Online Learning

Select this setting to allow users and scripts to mark documents for online learning. This setting is cleared by default.
- Advanced

If Enable Online Learning is selected, this setting is available.
