Numeric and amount content types

Use the Numeric content type for numbers and special characters like €, £, and $ to be recognized by the FineReader recognition engines.

Different countries and languages support different currency symbols. The following characters are found when selecting either of these content types:

  • #'*,./

  • +<=>

  • 0123456789

  • ERUX

  • € - Note that the currency character depends on the Countries setting.
