The Power PDF installer handles Internet Explorer integration. For other browsers, you need to install the Kofax PDF Create extension.

In Edge, the Open in Kofax Power PDF floating command panel appears automatically when viewing PDF files. To disable the panel, clear the Show "Open in Kofax Power PDF" setting in the extension menu.

In Internet Explorer, you can right-click a link to a PDF or XPS file and select Open with Convert Assistant from the shortcut menu to convert it to an editable format. The menu item is available for all browser links, but functions only when it points to a PDF or XPS file.
