External Programs

Use External Programs to provide the path for an external program to be executed in the data load. Each created document is saved and later can be used as a template in setting up an execution plan with the Run External Program step. See the Kofax Insight Studio Help.

  1. In Admin Console, select Documents Tree > External Programs.
  2. Right-click External Programs and select New External Program.

    The New External Program dialog box appears.

  3. Assign a unique, descriptive name for the new external program and click OK.

    The External Program settings appear in the right pane.

  4. Use the Name box to modify the existing program name and the Path box to enter the path.
  5. Save the changes.
    The newly created external program appears under External Programs on the Documents Tree.
