Distribution

Use the Distribution document to set preferences for delivering reports and alerts that are configured in Studio.

Define distribution options for reports and alerts

  1. In Admin Console , on the Documents Tree, click Distribution.
  2. Click the Report distribution options tab to set preferences for distributing reports:
    1. Maximum number of simultaneously generated reports: Set the maximum number of reports to be generated at the same time.
    2. Reports distribution projects: Indicate which projects require reports to be sent to the distribution list. Use the All check box to select all projects, or use the other check boxes to select projects individually.
  3. Click the Alerts distribution options tab to set preferences for delivering alerts:
    1. Popup critical alert messages: Select the check box to display alert messages in an Insight pop-up window, if they are configured with the severity of Critical.
    2. Critical alert messages timeout: If the preceding check box is selected, use the timeout settings to indicate how often the system checks to determine if critical alerts exist. Click in the entry box to display the timeout control, where you define the frequency in days, hours, minutes, or seconds.
    3. Alerts distribution projects: Indicate which projects require Critical alert messages to be displayed. Use the All check box to select all projects, or use the other check boxes to select projects individually.
  4. On the Actions toolbar, click Save.
