[Directory]

The default output directory for the transfer files when Transfer transfers data to files. This can be a local directory or a directory on another workstation or server accessed via the network.

Normally, you override this default when you specify the settings for the transfer file names in the Transfer job description. If you specify full path names in the Transfer job description, they are used instead of the default.

If you specify file names (without paths) for the transfer files in the Transfer job description, the files will be located in the path set by TransferFiles.

Image files can also end up in the directory specified by TransferFiles. APPROVE's Transfer add-on ensures that ReadSoft Invoices' Transfer job option Move image files (one of the Status settings) is selected and used. Invoice images are then moved (not copied) to whatever location is specified by the TransferFiles setting in the Eilocal.ini file on each ReadSoft Invoices workstation.
