Editing a character set
You can edit a character set by removing or adding some characters. See "Create or edit a character set" topic in Invoices Help topic for more information.
Your changes are saved in Ehcharset.ini, and they apply to all documents based on that character set. If you wish to restrict the possible characters for one particular field, do this in the field definition’s format specification.
If you are running your KofaxReadSoft program in a network and you modify EHCharSet.ini, be sure to make the same changes in all of the workstations in the network, unless you want the changes to apply only on that particular computer.
The character set affects only Interpret. Using Verify, you can type characters that are not included in the character set.
