Bank details encryption

Available starting with Kofax ReadSoft Invoices 6.1.

Description

This setting allows you to encrypt the bank information such as the account number and bank number. These flags are not available by default, you can add these flags under the [Options] section in eiglobal.ini.

Valid values

EncryptBankFields

0 = Bank fields are not encrypted

1 = Bank fields are encrypted

EncryptBankItems

After enabling the EncryptBankFields flag, you can add the bank details that need to be encrypted.

By default, the following bank details are added: 

QRIBAN,SupplierIBAN1,SupplierIBAN2,SupplierIBAN3,SupplierIBAN4,SupplierSWIFT1,SupplierSWIFT2,SupplierSWIFT3,SupplierSWIFT4,SupplierAccountNumber1,SupplierAccountNumber2,SupplierAccountNumber3,SupplierAccountNumber4,SupplierBankCodeNumber1,SupplierBankCodeNumber2,SupplierBankCodeNumber3,SupplierBankCodeNumber4,SupplierBankClearingNumber,BAT_SupplierIBAN,BAT_SupplierAccountNumber,BAT_SupplierBankCodeNumber,BAT_SupplierAccountNumberType,BAT_SupplierBankClearingNumber

Important
  • After setting these flags, make sure that you do not change the flag values unless the database is changed.
  • These settings apply only to newly created databases.
  • If you have upgraded your database, contact Kofax Technical support.
