Description
After you upgrade ReadSoft Invoices to a new version, you usually have to upgrade the database as well. Sometimes this is also required after installing hot fixes. You are asked to upgrade the database when you start Manager for the first time after upgrading Invoices.
The upgrade database procedure includes performing maintenance on it. This can take a long time, depending on how much data is stored in the database. If you have already tested upgrading ReadSoft Invoices in a test environment and/or do not wish to perform maintenance on the database before it is upgraded, you can use SkipDBCheckWhenUpdating. When this setting is turned on, no maintenance is performed before the database is upgraded.
