Downloading MFP client software

To run Kofax Front Office Server on an MFP, first install the client software on the device. Use the Download button to download the client software to your computer from Administration Console.

For a list of supported devices, see the Kofax Front Office Server Support pages on the Kofax website.

  1. On the Navigation panel, click Devices.
  2. Click Download.
  3. On the Download MFP Client Software window, select the make of the MFP from the Manufacturer field or select All to download a file for all manufacturers.
  4. Click the Accept button.

    To cancel without downloading files, click the Close button.

  5. Follow the prompt that appears in the browser to download the .zip file.
  6. Extract the files from the .zip file. Follow the instructions in the MFP administrator's guide to install the client software and prepare the device to use Kofax Front Office Server.

    The extracted files include [Content_Types].xml, which was used to create the .zip file. The [Content_Types].xml file is not needed in configuring the MFP and can be deleted.
