Adding devices, shortcuts, or destinations to a device profile

Associate devices, shortcuts, or destinations to a device profile by using the tabs to the right of the General tab.

  1. On the Navigation panel, select Device Profiles and select a profile.
  2. Select the tab for the item to add. Items that were created or the devices that were added to Kofax Front Office Server are listed.
  3. Move the items that will use the profile to the Associated column as follows:
    1. Select the item to add. To select more than one item, Ctrl-click each item or Shift-click to select a range of items.
    2. Use the arrow buttons to move the items:

      Associates the selected items.

      Removes the selected items.

    Once you associate a destination with a device profile, the destination is available as a button, which effectively works the same as a shortcut.
