Device Profiles - General tab

Use this tab to view and edit general attributes of a profile and to add new profiles.

Fields

The General tab has the following fields.

Name: The name of the profile. This field is required.
Description: An optional description for the profile.
Logon: If this option is selected, a Logon button appears on an associated MFP front panel so users can log on and be authenticated.
Default: Select to associate the profile with all devices that have not been associated with a profile. Only one profile can be set as the default. If you make this profile the default, the default status is removed from the previous default profile.
