PoorPerformanceThreshold

Description

Determines the threshold for deleting invoice definitions with low interpretation rates when the Remove invoice definitions with poor performance setting is enabled in a database maintenance plan.

The default threshold is 80%, a conservative setting that usually does not have much of an effect when you run the maintenance plan. Many problem invoice definitions will remain in the database.

If you change this setting, keep in mind that the purpose of the Remove invoice definitions with poor performance setting is to reduce the overall manual work done in Verify and Optimize combined, not increase it. Adjust PoorPerformanceThreshold to a value that reflects the reality of the solution. You want the Verify operator to see mostly green traffic signals from the second time an invoice enters the system.

Valid values

  • 80 (default)
  • Any integer from 1 to 100.

Although any integer from 1 to 100 is valid, low numbers are not realistic. As the PoorPerformanceThreshold value decreases, the number of invoice definitions that will be deleted increases. A value of 1 could delete virtually all invoice definitions.
