BarcodeBigRotation

Description

It can be difficult for ReadSoft Invoices to interpret a barcode when its position varies by more than 15 degrees’ rotation from the position specified in the field definition (horizontal or rotated 90 or 180 degrees). Using this setting enables the program to check for a larger degree of rotation.

Example:

According to the field definition, a barcode is rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise. ReadSoft Invoices can normally handle actual rotation from 75 to 105 degrees, but in this case, the barcode is actually rotated only 70 degrees. Therefore, you set BarcodeBigRotation to 1 so that the program checks for a larger degree of rotation. The barcode can now be interpreted if rotation is between 45 and 135 degrees counterclockwise.

Set this flag only if it is necessary, because it slows down the interpretation of barcodes.

Valid values

  • 1 – Use if barcodes are not horizontal or rotated 90 or 180 degrees but something in between. This allows the interpretation engine to interpret barcodes that are rotated up to 45 degrees either clockwise or counterclockwise from their defined position.
  • 0 (default)
