TreatPageWithBarcodeAsSeparatorPage

Description

When barcodes occur on invoices, normally the barcode is printed on the first page of the invoice. ReadSoft Invoices knows that any page containing a barcode is the first page of an invoice.

However, in some cases a page containing only a barcode is used between invoices. This page is not a part of the invoice, and it is only used for page separation. In such cases you need the TreatPageWithBarcodeAsSeparatorPage setting. When you enable this setting, ReadSoft Invoices deletes each page that contains a barcode, and the page after the deleted one becomes the first page of an invoice.

Example

You scan 10 pages. Barcodes are found on page 4 and page 7.

If TreatPageWithBarcodeAsSeparatorPage is not used, pages 1-3 are the first invoice, pages 4-6 the second, and pages 7-10 the third.

If TreatPageWithBarcodeAsSeparatorPage is enabled, pages 1-3 are the first invoice, pages 5-6 the second, and pages 8-10 the third. Pages 4 and 7 are deleted.
