Configuration setting preservation

When new versions of classification and extraction groups are imported, configuration settings that are dependent on the environment are preserved.

The following configuration settings are preserved:

  • Dictionary import paths

  • Local fuzzy database import paths

  • Associative Search Database paths

    Associative Search Databases will be deprecated in a future release of Kofax TotalAgility. As a result, Kofax recommends that you switch to a local fuzzy database or a remove fuzzy database via Kofax Search and Matching Server.

  • Relational database connections

  • Kofax Search and Matching Server settings

  • Script variables

When you first import a process to a new environment, the database connections must be updated manually. If you then import that process to another environment, the new database connection is preserved.
