General tab - Properties of Summary Locator window

This tab has the following Summary Settings.

Maximum number of sentences from the original text

The maximum number of sentences returned as a summary for a document. (Default: 3)

Summarization Method

This determines the behavior of the summary extraction. Choose from one of the following values.

• Default Method. (Default: Selected)

  This method uses the default recognition method to return a summary.

• Alternative Method.

  This method uses an alternative recognition method to return a summary.

Test each method to determine which method extracts the most appropriate summary.
