Field definition events
Field events fire when something is about to happen with a field definition or when something has happened with a field definition.
Note All events are sent by
FireEvent. The grouping described here is
simply a way to list the events in a logical way. To find out whether an object is active when an event is fired, do one of these:
- Look up that event and see the list of active objects.
- Look up the object and click the
Events
link. - Refer to COM objects and the events they subscribe to.
In addition to these events, you can fire your own events using the FireEvent method.
